Airports
Clark, Subic, Laoag, Cebu, and Davao are the Philippines’ international gateways, while the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila is the major gateway. Airport terminal fees for international departure are P750 or its dollar equivalent, and P200 on domestic fees.
The international airports have sufficient travel facilities like duty-free shops where you can buy imported and export- quality products. You can also find facilities like tourist information and assistance counters, hotel and travel agency representatives, car rentals and postal service, banks and automated teller machines, national and international direct dial telephone booths, medical clinics, and baggage deposit areas. All Philippine airports are handicapped-friendly – wheelchairs are available on request from the airport ground staff.

That is why first impressions are formed and expectations are set. All airports have counters for hotel and transportation services to provide convenience to travelers. Visayas Airports
There is nothing like traveling in comfort and security. It is a fact that a visitor’s first and last image of the place he or she has come to is the airport. Cebu’s Mactan International Airport (MIA) is at par with most of its Asian neighbors’ airports with enhanced services, standard facilities, and more flights. MIA handles regular flights from Japan, Singapore, and Australia, as well as chartered flights to Hong Kong, the United States, and other major travel capitals throughout the world. Philippine Airlines, Air Philippines, and Cebu Pacific provide daily flights to major destinations in the country. There are also scheduled chartered domestic flights to major domestic destinations served by smaller commuter planes.

Mindanao Airports
Most of the airports in Mindanao are well-maintained and have been upgraded to satisfy more travelers, providing effective and quick services to local and foreign airlines that transport cargo and passengers. Airports in Busuanga, Dumaguete, Guiuan, Kalibo, Puerto Princesa, San Vicente, Siargao, and Tacloban are being upgraded to boost tourism and open more markets, linking islands, enhancing the regions’ competitive advantage. Asian Spirit has expanded its operation in Mindanao, encouraging more tourists to visit the island. Davao International Airport, one of the busiest airports and definitely the best in Mindanao, handles regular flights from Indonesia and Singapore besides domestic flights.
